Admissions

All children admitted to Valley Special School have Special Educational Needs (SEN) and enter school either under assessment arrangements or with an Education, Health & Care Plan (EHCP).

Parental involvement in the admissions process is important to us. Parent/Carers of prospective pupils are most welcome to contact the school. Unfortunately, due to Covid-19 restrictions, we are not able to offer tours of school. We would recommend that you watch the video on our home page to get a feel for the provision we are able to provide at Valley and call us to discuss further how we can meet the needs of your child.

Appeals over admissions are dealt with by the Local Authority in accordance with the Department for Education School Admission Code 2014. Admission arrangements to Valley School are made through the SEN Department at the Local Education Authority (LEA) – Tel: 0161 474 2525.
