For the final week of the Spring term, the children have been treated to a diverse Creative Enrichment programme. Activities have included fabric weaving, biscuit decorating, Modroc sculpting, collaging and a dance-based sensory story.
The theme of the week has been the Wizard of Oz and we welcomed a number of the children’s parents and carers to enjoy a screening of the 1939 musical masterpiece with us in the hall. Between them, the children have created a giant pair of Ruby Slippers and two superb life size models of the Tin Man. On Friday we capped a magical few days with a visit from a theatre company who treated the children to an amazing production of Dorothy’s fantastic adventure.
